Law Student Programs & Fellowship
The Law Student Programs and Fellowship Committee strives to encourage law student involvement in the APA legal community. By providing forums for networking, informal mentorship opportunities and career advice, the Committee offers many ways for law students to get plugged in with attorneys and other law students. Previous events have included law student receptions, new CA bar admittee receptions and career panels.
The Committee also administers the APABA Fellowship. The APABA Fellowship is awarded to an Asian Pacific American law student who demonstrates leadership potential, maturity and responsibility, as well as a commitment to making a contribution to the Asian Pacific American community. The Fellow interns at a non-profit organization in Los Angeles for at least a 10-week period during the summer.
